what is a CV Database

The phrase “CV Database” was coined, by our service in 1999 as a neat strap line to describe the function of aggregating CVs [Curriculum Vitae or Resumes] in one place for the purposes of Job Seekers promoting their candidature to Employers.

It has now been adopted into general use for similar type services, known as Resume Banks in the US.

The related phrase is “Searchable CV database” was used as an strapline to describe the business of searching CVs on the CV Database.
