In our quest to build a more engaging and accurate CV-Resume search platform - we decided form the outset to add a number of new classifications - which attempted to address the issue around refining and tragetting the CV Placers more accurately.

Great Idea! Well so much for great ideas! It was quickly realised that organising CV's with frankly more than three main search categories simply made the thing far too complex AND did not showcase the CV's well, because CV Searchers could not find them!

Thus we reverted back to a maximum of three categories and added a supplementary key field which took care of the CV Placers' aims of their CV Database listings - ie what they were looking for.

That's all fine and dandy - except having removed all the key search surplus categories - this had the effect of removing content from the two primary search fields - which then defaults to the standard phrase "I'll tell you later".

Now unless and Employer or Recruiter enters the phrase: I'll tell you later" as part of their CV's search - yes you guessed it - nothing appears and so it proved.

Several members are not best pleased as QQ from Austin, Texas opined: "....having spent a good 2 hours of my precious time carefully getting to understand the set-up, never mind completing the basic account accurately - to find un-announced that my Resume could not even be found is nothing short of a joke....."

Well we shan't go on - suffice to say that our knees are sore from the grovelling apology that he should rightly receive from us along with several thousand other members whose accounts were similarly affected.

So here's our apology in advance - to all those setting up CV Database accounts between March 12th 2011 and March 28th 2011 - you will have visit your account and recomplete the "I am"  and "Seeking" fields to suit your needs.

Meantime and as a peace offering - we will work through as best we can to do this job for you, but we would strongly recommend that you double check this for yourself in any case.

We are sure this will not happen again!
